The Lace Museum (Museo del Merletto) sits in Burano's central Piazza Galuppi, inside the historic Palazzo del Podestà di Torcello, and documents Venetian and lagoon lace-making from the 16th to the 20th century, alongside Burano's own famous needle-lace tradition.
